Our first adventure in Sweden!

After a day of relaxing and recovering (and shopping since we still had no clothes), we packed up our tiny Eurovan and headed off to Denmark for four fun filled days at Legoland.  Stuffed to the gills, but we do fit!

We stopped for a little lunch break at Hans Christian Andersen's home town and it was so picturesque.

They put on a little play here doing small parts from a lot of his books.

Charlotta was so funny walking on the stone walkways.  She hated it and always tried to find the smoothest way.

After a few mishaps checking in (Johan got his credit card stuck in the machine!), we were off to a large waterpark/indoor playcenter for the rest of the afternoon.

While the little ones went back to the house to sleep, James, Annie and Skylar did these large trampolines to jump really high.

And we have arrived!

After many, many hours of traveling, we have arrived!  However, our suitcases did not, so we will have to wear these clothes just a while longer.

 

And we're off!

After a fabulous week at the lake with the family, we headed off on our much anticipated trip to Sweden!  Watch out Svener's, here we come!

It is everyone's last day together, so it is time to get pictures of all of the kids together.  It's tough with such a large group, but I think I got a good one!

Laura Ingalls Wilder house!

For a change of pace from the water, we decided to head up to the Laura Ingalls Wilder home today.  The kids really had a good time, but I am sure the museum was happy to see us leave!

 

 It does say a hands on experience...

 The other adults enjoyed a little peace and quiet while the majority of the kids were gone!

A day of boating

Now that everyone is here and settled, it is off for a day of boating and tubing!

It was an early morning into the lake today!  The kids loved the jump-off so much, that they had to do it again after a long night of planning super cool jumps.  Lovisa and Wayland were to be the judges.

 The kids decided Lovisa and Wayland need to distance themselves from the jumps, so they would have a better look at  each jump.  It was interesting getting out there!
