Easter in Chicago!

Everybody up and ready for the egg hunt!!!!

Then we headed off to the Museum of Science and Industry.  It was pretty empty there, it being Easter and all...

 Skylar got to be the volunteer for the tornado exhibit.

 Again, Katie and I went home to nap with the little ones while the big ones stayed at the museum.  This time we ordered sushi for ourselves!  After nap, we headed up to the Sears tower.

 Out on the new ledge...looking straight down to the streets of Chicago!

Day 2 in Chicago

We started of the day with a little cuddle time with Maya.  All of the kids just loved to hold her!

 Then we started our adventures into the city.  We first went to the Shedd Aquarium!

  

If you ever go to Chicago, you should get a city pass before you come.  You get into all of the major sites at a discount and you do not have to wait in line for tickets! The view of Chicago on our walk to Shedd.

  

It was very, very busy, but the kids still managed to have a great time.

 

 Katie and I then took the little ones home for a nap, so they could behave at the festivities scheduled for tonight.  The rest were supposed to go to the planetarium, but they decided on sushi instead!  Katie and I were a little upset they didn't bring us any back.  Anyway, I digress.  After nap, it was time for MEDIEVAL TIMES!  This is a really fun dinner show.  Here is the king greeting his subjects.

 Skylar went for the princess veil, while Charlotta went for the sword!

Off to Chicago!

After a long drive to Chicago, Matt and Katie thought it might be a good idea for the kids to blow off some steam.  So, we headed off to Dave and Buster's for dinner and games!  Skylar snuggles in with her Uncle Matt for a little private catching up:)

 

 Then she heads off to fine her favorite game to play...

Finally, a nice, semi-warm day!

It has been such a awful, cold spring!  The temperatures are 20 degrees colder than average for this time of year.  Finally, we have the sun shining, no wind blowing and a day to play!  Driveway time is the best!  Skylar and James enjoy a little basketball (with a soccer ball since all the other balls are flat)...
