A weekend with my mom

For Christmas, I asked my mom for some of her time.  So, we decided on a weekend together where we could shop, eat, and shop:)  We went to Atlanta for the weekend and really enjoyed our time together.  We ate at really yummy restaurants.  While we were enjoying fantastic and beautiful food... 

 JT had a weekend alone with the kids.  He took them to Olive Garden, where he really enjoyed some salad:)

 

The kids were well behaved, as you can see here.  Brennen is screaming, "I wave my hands in the air like I just don't care!" and Kellen is drinking a ROOT beer, despite the look on his face.

 I really enjoyed my quite weekend, especially the desserts!

Meat weekend 2015

We have been planning a meat weekend since Thanksgiving with my sister Lovisa and her boyfriend, Andreas.  Andreas made fabulous sausages for us all at Thanksgiving and, since JT loves to cook so much, he really wanted to learn how to do it.  So, it finally came time for meat weekend!  JT flew us to Midland and we (well JT and Andreas--Lovisa and I took off for a little work out here and there!) literally spent an entire day making sausages!

 

 

 

It was actually a lot of fun and the sausages were delicious!!
