Christmas at Home!

We flew back yesterday to beat all of the storms coming!  Today, we celebrate our family Christmas!
 The calm before the storm.
 Happiness!!

Skylar has fallen in love with one piece PJ's this year and since she is a teenager who hides in her room...
Super pumped about shooting his brothers with a Nerf gun!
We ended the day with Swedish Smorgasbord, but I forgot to get the picture!

Christmas week in Arizona!

 Lots,
 and lots,
and lots of time spent in the pool!
Skylar had some cooking to make up for school, so she had to prepare things for the family and then send photos to her teacher to prove that she made them.  Uncle Matt generously photo bombed every picture!

We spent an afternoon at the National Music Museum.  That is a really great place!!

Christmas Eve-Santa drops off the PJ's for everyone;)

Up Bright and Early (7:00-not too bad!!) for opening presents!

A Phoenix Suns basketball game for a last evening out.

Two day swim meet

Papa had a weekend planned with his brothers this weekend, so we all packed up for Lincoln, Nebraska for another swim meet!  Even Charlotta had to come.
A disgruntled little girl-tired of being at a swim meet ALL day!

A little play time after a long day of swimming!

Hair Cut!

Brennen decided to give himself a mohawk-a real mohawk!  It's not good.

TWO more snow days!

Back from Nashville and school gets cancelled for two more days due to snow.  What else should we do, but lounge about in PJ's with best friends!

Thanksgiving week activities

It's tradition-Swedish pancakes (or sugar pancakes as the kids call them)!
Another tradition-the Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day!  We had a full crew this year and the kids all ran really well!
 Meeting Byron's girlfriend--she is a real sweetheart!
And to cap off the week-a visit to the ER.  James' hand got really infected so he had to get IV antibiotics.

First blizzard of the year!

We are supposed to leave for Nashville tomorrow for Thanksgiving break, but I am not sure that is going to happen!  We are getting pounded with snow.  The kids love it though:)

Some very pink cheeks after playing in the snow!
