Trefor, Korrina, Lovisa, Skylar and James arrive!

After another horrible day of traveling (I was beginning to think that this trip was cursed...), the next group of people arrived.  They had their swim suits on in about 2 seconds and went right into the water!

Charlotta was very unhappy with me for making her go on a paddleboat with a stranger!  "No like, mama!"  She did warm up to Trefor after a while though!

 Maddie was the perfect playmate for Brennen and Kellen.  I think Maddie and Kellen took 3 hot showers a day together!

After a very long day and many travel difficulties,  Wayland, Jody and company made it (left at 5:30 their time and arrived at 11:00 at night).  No need to go into details on their awful day, but water play is the first thing on the agenda!

OK, the house is clean, all summer work is done, so now we wait for everyone to arrive!  How do we pass the time?  Riding bike, of course!

  

Sleep study

Kellen has night terrors almost every night and he is often tired all day, so we thought it was time to get his sleep checked out.  I really hope that they can find something so that he gets a little help and a little better sleep.  Here he is getting 100 wires attached to his head and body--yes, he has to sleep with everything on like a mummy!

Surprise! Happy 30th Matt!

Uncle Matt's 30th birthday was this weekend and his wife Katie had a surprise weekend planned for him.  We all drove to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and surprised him with a weekend filled with golf, good food and having a few too many cocktails!

Caqmp Neyati

It's time for Skylar and James to head off to camp Neyati.  They just love going to this camp.  They will be here for a week and then they will spend a week at Lovisa's house.
  
They quickly unpacked and kicked us out the door!

Another day, another Tri!

I'm really getting into this triathlon thing!  So, Lovisa decided to sign us up for another triathlon while I was bringing the kids up for their annual visit.  The sun rises as we make our way to Gaylord, MI.
 
 We did really well today.  I won my age group and Lovisa got 3rd in hers.  And now we both are addicted!
