The Cottage at Lake Michigan

Yes, we are all still here. We have been gone for the past week to our sister in law's summer cottage. This is like my dream summer place, so I was in pure heaven. I will give you a run down on our days. Wake up, breakfast, down to the beach, lunch, down to the beach, dinner, campfire/fireworks at the beach, bedtime for kids/games and drinks for the adults. Repeat. We had soooooooo much fun and the kids never got tired of the beach. We did manage to squeeze in a day of blueberry picking which was a lot of fun! We were all very sad to leave. We had so much fun that this is going to be an annual trip.

One of the kids' favorite things was the outdoor shower. You come right off the beach and shower off all of the sand before coming into the house. No bath required:)

Firework fun!

Time to pick Blueberries! (In Kellen's case goldberries). Kellen must of eaten a whole bucket of blueberries during the blueberry picking. Matt and I kept filling his bucket, but the level of blueberries never changed.

All the kids had to take a bathroom break in the middle of blurberry picking, so we had to take a small hike into the woods. James came back with a tiny baby frog.
