July 4th!

After a day of water play, it was time for some fireworks! We sat out on the dock and watched the fireworks from all around the lake.

Kellen just went crazy for the fireworks! He was jumping around like a manic and screaming every time a firework went off. By the end of the night he was exhausted!

The Tramp is in!

We ordered a water trampoline for the kids and JT had a couple of people up to help get it installed. It was quite a morning filled with lots of disasters. First, the wave runner got tipped over in 10 feet of water with JT's glasses on them and he was a little upset. Luckily, mama has perseverance and I found the glasses in the muddy bottom. Then, the rope got sucked into the wave runner impeller. Then the anchor wouldn't hold the thing in place. But they eventually got all the kinks worked out and the kids (and the neighbor kids)could not of been happier!







The next morning, Skylar and James decided to canoe out to the "tramp" (as the kids lovingly call it), but neither of them actually know how to canoe. So, they actually drifted about a house down before they bailed out and swum to the tramp!

Charlotta loves to be outside. The minute she is out, she calms down and falls asleep!

We lost a large tree branch in a storm, but Sami doesn't want to let it go!

Update on the kids!

Yes! I know he needs a hair cut, but as I hardly have time to take a shower, I just don't seem to make it to the salon!

My darling Charlotta is up to 8 lbs 10 oz. She is sleeping 8-9 hours at night and she is a really good baby!

My TV junkies! Skylar and James watch a little TV while the others nap.

Kellen's new obsession is this backpack! He wears it everywhere-including to bed for nap time.

Let's play dress-up!

Skylar decided to make Brennen a girl today! I have to say that he makes a really cute girl. I can't believe that his hair is long enough to put in pigtails!


James got in on the fun too!

Kellen, of course, refused to play dress-up! He does not like make believe play.

Charlotta smiled for the first time today!

I know she is not smiling here, but she gave us lots of smiles today and she even giggled for Papa!

Charlotta is 4 weeks old!

She's getting pretty big!

Back from a week at the lake!

We have been at the lake house for the past week. The lake is nice and warm now, so we did a lot of swimming. Jt got the wave runners up and running and so we did a lot of that as well. The kids (except for Kellen) really love the wave runners! Brad and Lovisa came up on Sunday for a visit and stayed until Thursday. We had a really wonderful time with them. Brad and James were best pals. They played baseball, Kubb, pretty much anything that involved throwing something.




These two just love each other so much. They just can't keep their hands off each other. Sometimes, it drives me crazy (like when they are hitting and kicking each other), but there are rare moments when they melt my heart!

I think this picture almost looks fake, like we added the lake background to a picture of Skylar!

Charlotta spent most of her time sleeping!
