Evan and Jen at the lake house for a week!

 My brother Evan and his family came up to the lake for a week and Skylar had her friend Avery up for a few days. Charlotta and Hayden were best buds (most of the time!).

 There was a lot of tubing, skiing, and general water fun.

It took a little, but Hayden finally warmed up to Uncle JT.

Weekend in Michigan

Lovisa and I had planned to do a race together and we needed to drop Skylar off for her week in Chicago at the Field Museum.  So, we headed to Michigan for the weekend! First, a night out on the town.

  

 

The next day, we did an escape room and at this time, we are the record holders!!!

 We also did some old time photos!

 

 

 And I found this extremely interesting fruit, a jack fruit!  If you want to start up a conversation, carry one of these around the grocery store.  It was really tasty!

  

On Sunday, JT and Skylar headed out and Visa and I did our race where we both did well. I think Visa has that picture...

So, our family pair's up really nice with the VandeVegte family.  Jen and I are friends through working out together, Skylar is dating their oldest-Carter, James and Kellen are best friend's with Graham and Micah, and their youngest is Brennen's age, but plays so well with Charlotta (who knows-maybe Brennen and Rylan will couple up in a few years???).  So we decided to have them up for the weekend.  We were not even in the water 10 seconds and James splits his head on the hot dog!

  

One ER visit and 7 stitches later, the boys man the grill.
