Day 2-Diamond Head Hike
We were up at a good time today so that we could hike up Diamond Head. Beautiful view of the island.
Later in the day, we headed over to Pearl Harbor, but cameras are not allowed in:(

Day 1 in Hawaii:))
Yes, that's right, Hawaii! JT surprised me with a trip of relaxation to Hawaii. After a long day of travel and a good sleep in, we headed off to the beach. This is the lagoon right outside our hotel.
But I wanted beach time, so here I am out for a morning swim.
You can see my bikini straps underneath because I am going to lay on the beach the whole rest of the day.
Enjoying a book, waves and warm sun.

Finally, The Seussical!
Skylar has been having play practice after school until 8pm for the past couple of weeks. I think all of the kids will be happy when this is done. I mean, going into school and 8 in the morning and not coming home until 8 at night? These kids are only middle schoolers! However, the production was FANTASTIC! I was completely shocked at how good the show was. It was sort of a mix of Cat In the Hat and Horton Hears a Who.
Here is Charlotta waiting for the show to start.
Putting on a little show herself.
They painted the whole stage and found a huge amount of costume for all of the cast.
5th and 8th graders were Who's and 6th and 7th graders were jungle animals. Skylar got to be a zebra. According to her, she got the best zebra costume of the bunch. She was very happy and cute, if I do say so myself!
The monkey crew.
Posing after the show for us!
Lotta loved the show and was so proud of her sister!
